This service enables government entities to request the opening of bank accounts with local banks and financial institutions to facilitate and manage their financial transactions.

  • Emiri Resolution Appointing the Director General

  • Administrative Resolution on Banking Authorities

  • Bank Signature Forms

  • Proof of identity (ID / passport).

  • A copy of the Emiri decree to establish the department

Process

  • 1 Visit the Department of Finance website
  • 2 Select “Services,” then choose “Request to Open a Bank Account"
  • 3 Click “Start Service"
  • 4 Sign in using UAE PASS
  • 5 Complete the online bank account opening request form
  • 6 Upload the required documents
  • 7 Submit the application
