Register the termination of a long-term lease

This service enables the termination of the usufruct period of the property or real estate unit and the return of the property to its rightful owner.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • The original title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration certificate is required if the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

  • A letter from the bank indicating the release of the Lease To Own, and transfer the ownership to the beneficiary.

  • No Objection Certificate from the developer (in the case of a real estate unit).

  • Business

  • The original title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration certificate is required if the documents are not updated with the Emirates ID

  • Establishment contract and commercial license for institutions and companies.

  • A letter from the bank indicating the release of the Lease To Own, and transfer the ownership to the beneficiary.

  • No Objection Certificate from the developer (in the case of a real estate unit).

Process

  • 1 Submitting the application request and required documents through the E-services portal
  • 2 Reviewing and approving the application by the Customer Happiness Center
  • 3 Fees Payment
  • 4 Download the title deed/ownership certificate/initial registration certificate through the digital ID application

Service fees

  • AED 350 fees for issuing of title deed and site plan or ownership certificate of a real estate unit

  • AED 500 registration of a release of lease contract that ends with ownership
